GONZALES, Judge:

Pursuant to his pleas, the appellant was found guilty on 30 May 1991, of absence without leave, larceny, forgery (11 specifications), adultery, and communicating a threat, in violation of Articles 86, 121, 123, and 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 U.S.C. §§ 886, 921, 923, and 934 (1982) [hereinafter UCMJ], A military judge, sitting as a general court-martial, sentenced the appellant to a bad-conduct discharge,confinement for twenty-six months, and forfeiture of $500.00 pay per month for twenty-six months.
