OPINION

This is an appeal from a district court order granting summary judgment in a class action suit. We have concluded that summary judgment in favor of respondents was appropriate.

Appellants brought a class action suit on behalf of approximately 750 duly qualified participants in the Public Employees’ Retirement System (PERS) who retired prior to May 19, 1977 with at least twenty years of service (early retirees).
