Appeal from a judgment of the District Court of Hennepin County which affirmed a judgment of the municipal court of the city of Hopkins which found defendant guilty of operating a motor vehicle in a careless and negligent manner contrary to an ordinance of such municipality.
The municipal court trial was set for Friday, May 9, 1958, at 8 p. m. At the start of the proceedings, defendant’s counsel appeared specially and objected to the court’s jurisdiction to hear the case at the time indicated. The objection was overruled and the trial proceeded with the result above…
