Defendant Korea Logistics Systems Inc. (“KLS” or the “Defendant”) has moved by letter motion pursuant to Rule E(4)(f) of the Supplemental Rules for Admiralty or Maritime Claims and Asset Forfeiture Actions of the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure (“Supplemental Rules”) to vacate the attachments obtained by the plaintiff Beluga Chartering GMBH (“Beluga” or the “Plaintiff’) and, under Rule E(7) of the Supplemental Rules, for countersecurity on its counterclaims.
