Opinion

ROBINSON, J.

The defendant in this summary process action, Susan O’Hara Cunniffe, also known as Susan O’Hara, appeals from the trial court’s judgment of possession rendered in favor of the plaintiff, Maurice J. Cunniffe. The dispositive issue on appeal is whether the court improperly denied the defendant’s motion for continuance to allow for production, pursuant to a properly served subpoena duces tecum, of a trust *229document bearing critically upon the plaintiffs standing to prosecute this action.1 We reverse the judgment of the trial court.2
