This is a suit in equity commenced and prosecuted in the district court for Douglas county by James V. Chizek as plaintiff against the city of Omaha, its mayor and council, Herman Beal as city engineer, the Metropolitan Utilities District, the Northern Gas & Pipe Line Company, and also four named corporations engaged in the packing house business within said city. Mark M. Shaw became a party to this proceeding by intervention.
