MEMORANDUM OF DECISION

HENRY J. BOROFF, Bankruptcy Judge.

Before the Court is the “Chapter 13 Trustee’s Objection to Debtor’s Chapter 13 Plan and Exemptions,” filed by Denise M. Pappalardo, the Chapter 13 Trustee (the “Trustee”). The Trustee argues that the exemption claimed by Nicole D. Gordon (the “Debtor”) pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws ch. 188, § 1 (the “Massachusetts Homestead Statute”) is not valid because the Debtor holds only a remainder interest in her residence.
