MEMORANDUM OF DECISION AND ORDER

On July 22, 2011, the Plaintiffs Moosa Ebrahimian and Sheila Ebrahimian filed this action against the Defendant insurer Nationwide Mutual Fire Insurance Company in New York State Supreme Court, Nassau County. The complaint relates to an insurance policy which the Plaintiffs allege the Defendant breached by disclaiming certain coverage for damage sustained by the Plaintiffs’ residence due to a severe storm. The Plaintiffs seek declaratory relief as to the parties’ rights and obligations *408under the insurance policy as well as special damages…
