Sasol North America, Inc. (formerly known as Condea Vista Chemical Co.) appeals from the National Labor Relations Board’s ruling that it violated various provisions of the National Labor Relations Act, 29 U.S.C. § 151 et seq. The charge: that Sasol, inspired by anti-union animus, had unilaterally (i.e., without affording the union an opportunity to bargain) abandoned an unwritten policy allowing unlimited unpaid leave for union leaders to work on union business.
