OPINION OF THE COURT

MARDEN, Senior Judge:

Appellant was convicted, contrary to his pleas, by a military judge sitting as a general court-martial, of extortion, bribery, and obstructing justice in violation of Articles 127 and 134, Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ), 10 U.S.C. §§ 927 and 934 (1982). He was acquitted of larceny and bribery charges in violation of Articles 121 and 134, UCMJ, 10 U.S.C. §§ 921 and 934.
