We granted the petition for rehearing because it appeared that the original opinion filed herein may have overlooked or misapprehended the nature of the cause of action respondents asserted and pursued in the trial court and the trial judge’s rulings with respect to the relief sought. The rehearing was granted as to the issue relating to the propriety of an award of punitive damages and the defendant Summa’s liability therefore.
