In his complaint, plaintiff alleged the existence of a partnership between himself and defendant, and that the partnership had performed under contract a large amount of work for the city of Seattle. Plaintiff further alleged that he had requested of defendant access to the books of the copartnership, and that such access had been refused him. Finally, he set forth in his complaint that the partnership had earned a large profit, to a share of which he was entitled.
