OPINION

KENNEDY, Judge.

{1} Ignacio Rivera (Defendant) appeals the revocation of his probation by the district court. His sole argument on appeal is that while the appeal of his conviction was pending in this Court, the district court had no jurisdiction to revoke his probation. We reverse the revocation of Defendant’s probation holding that the judgment is not in effect during the pendency of Defendant’s appeal. State v. Ramirez, 76 N.M. 72, 76, 412 P.2d 246, 249 (1966). We further clarify our ruling in State v. Cordova, 100 N.M. 643, 647-48, 674 P.2d 533, 537-38 (Ct.App.1983), which held that…
