PETTY, Judge.
Following a bench trial, Stacey Lynn Wright was convicted of assault on a law enforcement officer in violation of Code § 18.2-57(C). On appeal, she raises three issues. First, she argues that the trial court erred in denying her motion to dismiss or remand her direct indictment because the district court improperly entered an order of nolle prosequi Second, she contends that the resulting denial of a preliminary hearing under Code § 19.2-218 led to a violation of her due process rights under Article I, Section 11 of the Constitution of Virginia.
