*45 An attorney is an officer of the court. He or she must respect and follow court orders whether they are right or wrong. ( People v. Pigage (2003) 112 Cal.App.4th 1359 , 1374, 6 Cal.Rptr.3d 88 ; Bus. & Prof.Code § 6068, subd. (b).) These time honored rules were lost upon counsel.
