This action was brought by W. C. Meadows against J. G. Clark, otherwise known as Garrett Clark, to recover a commission in the sum of $795, alleged to have been due by the defendant to the plaintiff. The sum alleged to have been due was a commission claimed to be owed to the appellant by reason of the appellant acting as respondent’s agent under an authorization and an agreement to pay the appellant a certain commission for entering into a contract to buy certain cattle from a third party for the benefit of the respondent.
