THE COURT.

The petition for a hearing in this case was granted for the reason that there were pending in this court several cases involving important questions with reference to the nature of the legal interests created and conveyed by certain oil and gas leases, and it was deemed advisable to postpone a final determination of the question involved in this case until the nature of such interests should be definitely determined and defined by this court. The facts of the case are succinctly and correctly set forth in the opinion of the District Court of Appeal and are as follows:
