HEFFERNAN, CHIEF JUSTICE.
This case comes to us on the review of a decision of the court of appeals which reversed a judgment of the circuit court for Milwaukee county, Ralph Adam Fine, circuit judge.
We affirm the court of appeals decision, although we do so on a legal premise different from that relied upon by the court of appeals.
The question on review is whether, as a matter of law, representations in an employees’ handbook may limit the power of an employer to terminate an employment relationship which would otherwise be terminable at will. The court of appeals held “as a matter of law…
