BEAM, Circuit Judge.

Christopher Strong was convicted of aggravated sexual abuse for assaulting his girlfriend, Fawnda Parkhurst, and forcing her to have sex with him over the course of a three-day period, during which he held her against her will. Prior to trial, Strong moved in limine'to exclude evidence of a prior sexual assault he committed against his former wife. The district court1 admitted the evidence under Federal Rule of Evidence 413.
