SOPER, Circuit Judge.
The decision of this case turns on the question whether the venue was properly laid in the Northern District of West Virginia where the defendant in the District Court was tried for violation of Section 1441(a). of title 12 U.S.C.A., which provides in substance that whoever makes any statement, knowing it be false, for the purpose of influencing in any way the action of a Federal Home Loan Bank upon any application for loan shall be punished by a fine of not more than $5000 or imprisoned for not more than two years, or both.
