MEMORANDUM OPINION
BENNETT, District Judge.
Pending before this Court are Cross Motions for Summary Judgment filed by Plaintiff Carole McCready (“Plaintiff’ or “McCready”) and Defendant The Standard Insurance Company (“Defendant” or “Standard”). On February 8, 2005, Plaintiff brought this action against Standard pursuant to the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA), 29 U.S.C. §§ 1001, et. seq. 1 Plaintiff alleges that Defendant improperly denied her claim for long-term disability benefits under Group Benefit Policy No. 641252-A LTD (“Policy” or “Plan”).
