EFFRON, Judge:
At a contested trial in January 1991 at Carswell Air Force Base, Texas, appellant *123was convicted by a general court-martial composed of officer and enlisted members of charges that he had disobeyed a lawful order of a superior commissioned officer and that he had used marijuana on divers occasions over a 9-month period. See Arts. 90 and 112a, Uniform Code of Military Justice, 10 USC §§ 890 and 912a, respectively.
