This case presents an opportunity to resolve several questions regarding the appropriate district court to confirm or vacate an arbitration award under the Federal Arbitration Act (“FAA”), 9 U.S.C. §§ 9 and 10. The appellee Sutter Corporation (“Sutter”) manufactures post-operative rehabilitation'devices. On March 1,1993, P & P Industries, Inc.
