Plaintiffs appeal from orders denying their motions for a new trial and sanctions against defendant Donald E. Owens d/b/a Owens Construction (Owens) and defense counsel. Defendant Owens appeals from the denial of his motion for sanctions against plaintiffs and plaintiffs’ counsel. After careful review, we find that the trial court did not err in denying the motion for a new trial and we dismiss defendant’s appeal from the denial of his motion for sane- tions; however, we reverse the trial court’s denial of plaintiffs’ motion for sanctions and remand for further findings.
