Petitioner sought judicial review of a final order of the Board of Parole and Post-Prison Supervision (board) that affirmed an earlier order denying him rerelease on parole. The Court of Appeals granted petitioner leave to proceed with judicial review. However, before the court reached a decision, petitioner was released on parole. Petitioner’s counsel filed a notice of probable mootness and the Court of Appeals dismissed the case as moot. Blacknall v. Board of Parole, 221 Or App 200, 189 P3d 1234 (2008).
