On June 16, 1959, Frank Carpenter, as plaintiff, hereinafter referred to as appel-lee, brought suit against American Bankers Ins. Co. of Florida, hereinafter referred to as appellant, seeking to recover upon an insurance policy in the amount of $2,000. Appellee pleaded that appellant, prior to February 9, 1959, issued a policy of insurance to the appellee against all loss or damages to appellee’s house boat.
