This action was instituted on May 4, 1983, arising out of surgery performed by defendant, George L. Austin, M.D., on May 5, 1981. In accordance with Local Rule WJ 1901, notice of impending termination of this matter was properly given to counsel for plaintiff by way of this case being listed on the Westmoreland County purge list of civil cases, published in the Westmoreland Law Journal on June 7, 1991.
