The principal issue in this certified appeal is whether the defendant was “more than two years older” than the victim within the meaning of General Statutes § 53a-71 (a) (l).1 The defendant, Jason B., appeals from the judgment of the Appellate Court affirming the trial court’s judgment adjudicating him to be a youthful offender in violation of General Statutes (Rev. to 1993) § 54-76b.2 The defendant claims that: (1) at the time of the incident, he was not more than two years older than the victim within the meaning of § 53a-71 (a) (1); (2) § 53a-71 (a) (1) is…
