FRIEDMAN, Judge.

Armco, Inc. (Employer) appeals from an order of the Workmen’s Compensation Appeal Board (Board) affirming a referee’s award of benefits to Clarence Mattern *987(Claimant) pursuant to sections 108(n) and 301(c)(2) of The Pennsylvania Worker’s Compensation Act (Act), Act of June 2, 1915, P.L. 736, as amended, 77 P.S §§ 27.1 and 411(2). We affirm.

For approximately thirty-four years, Claimant worked as a scarier for Employer. Within his work environment, Claimant was exposed to large amounts of dust, gases and fumes.
