Plaintiff commenced this action pursuant to 42 U.S.C. § 1983 alleging that on February 24,1987, defendants arrested him without justification, and also injured him during the course of making the arrest. Furthermore, plaintiff claims that defendants conspired to arrest him illegally, injure him, and deprive him of his civil and constitutional rights under the due process and equal protection clauses of the Fourteenth Amendment.
