This is an action under the Unfair Practices Act (Deering’s Gen. Laws, 1937, Act 8781; Stats. 1937, chap. 860).
Prior to August 1, 1938, the plaintiff was the only photo engraver having a place of business in Orange County. For several years, however, the defendants, who operated a photo engraving plant in Vernon with branches in Santa Barbara and Glendale, had, through salesmen, solicited and obtained business in the various cities and towns of Orange County.
