Appellant was charged with robbery and kidnapping for the purpose of robbery. He was tried by the court without a jury and found guilty of both offenses. He appeals from the order denying his motion for a new trial and from the judgment of conviction. At the trial he was represented by the assistant public defender; on this appeal he appears in propria persona.
