This case arises from an altercation between the defendant, Edan F. Calabrese, and his mother, Maureen Calabrese. The defendant appeals from the judgment of conviction, rendered after ajuiy found him guilty of assault of an elderly person in the third degree in violation of General Statutes § 53a-61a *114(a) (l),1 burglary in the second degree in violation of General Statutes (Rev. to 2005) § 53a-102 (a) (l)2 and interfering with an officer in violation of General Statutes § 53a-167a (a).3 On appeal, the defendant claims that (1) there was insufficient evidence to support a…
