Petitioner Fred H. Coggins and Respondent Patsy A. Coggins were divorced pursuant to a decree entered on November 19, 2002. Fred filed a timely notice of appeal on December 17, 2002. Under Ark. R. App. P. — Civ. 5(a), the record was due for filing in this court within ninety days from the filing of the notice of appeal. Within that ninety-day period, on March 7, 2003, Fred sought and received an extension of the time to file the record on appeal, pursuant to subsection (b) of Rule 5.
