CALABRIA, Judge.

John David Riser, P.A. (“Riser”) and McDowell Emergency Physicians, P.L.L.C. (collectively, “defendants”) appeal from a judgment entered upon a jury verdict finding defendants liable for medical malpractice for their treatment of Aziza Katy (“Mrs. Katy”) and awarding *472Riadh Katy, as administrator of the Estate of Mrs. Katy (“plaintiff’), monetary damages and costs. Defendants are entitled to a new trial.
