In an event of increasing frequency as defense attorneys expand their utilization of other than counsel resources to *669prepare a variety of prepleading and presentence reports to aid them in advocating for criminal defendants, Consultants for Criminal Justice Alternatives (CCJA), has submitted to this court a claim for compensation pursuant to County Law § 722-c in the amount of $1,260 for 28 hours of other than counsel services at a requested hourly rate of compensation of $45.
