Plaintiff brought this action on behalf of herself and three minor children for damages for the death of her husband, Milton M. Richards. Following a verdict in her favor, defendant filed motions for judgment n. o. v. and a new trial, which were refused. From the judgment entered on the verdict, as reduced, this appeal was taken.

Mr. Richards was killed July 14, 1936, at about four o’clock p. m. by being struck by the locomotive of a freight train of the defendant in the Borough of Ann-ville, Lebanon County. The defendant operated trains over a double track line…
