*488 *888 A jury in the Circuit Court for Baltimore County found that Mr. Michael Quinlan ("Appellee") suffered an occupational disease in the form of degenerative tears in the medial and lateral menisci in his right knee arising out of and in the course of his employment as a paramedic/firefighter for Baltimore County ("Appellant" or the "County").
