In this action, plaintiffs, property owners, sought to enjoin defendant’s use of its property at 4341 Westminister Place in St. Louis as a home for convalescent and aged women, it being' alleged by plaintiffs that such use 'is in violation: of the comprehensive zoning ordinance of St. Louis. Defendant raised the issue that the zoning ordinance, .in its application to defendant’s property, is unreasonable, arbitrary, discriminatory, confiscatory and in violation of the, due process clause .of the Fourteenth Amendment of the Constitution of the United States.
