The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) brought this action under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq., against Peterson, Howell & Heather, Inc. (“PHH, Inc.”) and PHH Group, Inc. 1 to remedy alleged discriminatory employment practices at the defendants’ Baltimore County facilities in Maryland. In its complaint, the EEOC alleges that defendants discriminated against blacks as a class in recruitment and hiring and against females as a class in recruitment, hiring, promotion, and wages. 2 The EEOC seeks…
