The bill was filed by the administrator of Lyde Goodwin against the executors of Robert Oliver, to recover the proceeds of a share in an association called the Baltimore Company, which had a claim against the Mexican government, that was allowed under the convention of 1839, “ for the adjustment of claims of citizens of the United States against the Mexican Republic.” The claim of the company was founded on a contract with General Mina, in 1816, for advances and supplies in fitting out a…
