OPINION OF THE COURT

2Per curiam

Respondent was admitted to the practice of law in New York by the Second Judicial Department on July 28, 1982, *159under the name Kenneth Steven Pelsinger, and at all relevant times has maintained an office for the practice of law in the First Judicial Department.

In December of 1991, respondent was served with notice of charges alleging that he had converted client funds and failed to preserve their identity in violation of Code of Professional Responsibility DR 1-102 (A) (4) and DR 9-102 (A) (Charge One); engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit or…
