BOOCHEVER, Circuit Judge:

The Oakland Tribune appeals the district court’s denial of its motion for a preliminary injunction. Because it has not shown that defendants are causing irreparable injury, the denial is affirmed.

I. BACKGROUND

Defendant Chronicle Publishing Company (“Chronicle”) publishes the morning newspaper San Francisco Chronicle which is sold principally in San Francisco and the East Bay.
