This is an action on a policy of insurance issued by the appellant, insuring the property of one Frank W. Draper against loss by fire. The policy was issued to Draper, and on the 2nd day of October, 1894, at the request of Draper, by proper endorsement, the loss was made payable to the appellees “as their interest may appear.” The property insured was a two-story frame building on a lot situated in the town of Centreville. The whole property, prior to the accrual of Draper’s title, had belonged to a Mrs. Sparks, who held a policy of insurance on the house, issued by the *143appellant This policy…
