The Rush Creek Land and Live Stock Company, hereinafter Rush Creek, brought this action against Jack Chain, trustee of the Beth Hudson Chain Revocable Trust dated January 22, 1982, and Beth Hudson and other trustees and successor trustees of the trust, collectively denoted as “the trust,” to quiet title to a certain island. The island at issue lies generally in the North Platte River between Rush Creek’s property and the trust’s property.
