Plaintiffs-appellees, Raymond and Negoshia Gustin, brought this quiet title action for the purpose of establishing the south boundary line to real property owned by the Gustins, and the north boundary line to real property belonging to defendant-appellant, Glen Scheele. The parties’ lots had previously been separated by a railroad right-of-way owned by the Missouri Pacific Railway Company (railroad). Scheele purchased the right-of-way property of the railroad, and a dispute arose as to whether the Gustins were possessing former railroad right-of-way property. The district court found in favor…
