On March 26, 1973, plaintiff Robert White was awarded compensation by the Workmen’s Compensation Appeal Board on his claim against Extra Labor Power of America (hereinafter referred to as Extra Labor) for the loss of four fingers on his left hand arising through the operation of a punch press on the premises of Están Manufacturing Company (hereinafter referred to as Están). At the same time the appeal board affirmed the decision of the referee denying plaintiff recovery of compensation benefits against Están. It is from this latter decision that appellants appeal.
