We are asked to review an award of attorney’s fees and expenses under the common fund doctrine to determine if it is reasonable under the circumstances.

On July 9, 1973, the State of Florida, through its state Attorney General’s office, filed a complaint in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida against seventeen major oil companies alleging, inter alia, conspiracy to violate various federal and state antitrust laws.
