MEMORANDUM AND ORDER

MATSUMOTO, District Judge:

Plaintiff Lorna Nurse (“Nurse” or “plaintiff’), a former employee of defen*303dant Lutheran Medical Center (“LMC” or “defendant”), brought this action alleging that she was terminated from her job as a Nurse Practitioner based on her race (Black) and national origin (Barbadian), in violation of Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, as amended, 42 U.S.C. § 2000e et seq. Presently before the court is defendant’s motion for summary judgment pursuant to Federal Rule of Civil Procedure 56. For the reasons set forth below, defendant’s motion is granted.
