In this appeal of an age discrimination case, 1 Plaintiff-Appellant Jimmy G. Moore asserts that the district court erred in granting summary judgment in favor of Defendant-Appellee Eli Lilly & Co. (Lilly). Moore argues that the district court improperly imposed a “pretext burden” on him, and that there were genuine issues of material facts concerning whether Lilly’s proffered reason for dismissing him was pretextual.
